Welcome to Elegant Mayhem!
I created this space in 2016 as a place to park all my ideas and adventures in *trying* (not always succeeding on first try!) to develop a beautiful home, functional wardrobe and a life full of inspired, creative people.
It’s been an amazing experience to meet SO many other women with similar dreams and obsessions (an effortless organized closet, block print fabrics, and museum shops, to name a few) AND frustrations (how can I order the fabrics I see and love in magazines? why do I keep starting so many projects at home but never finish them??).
It took a while but through many blog posts and special events, I was able to find my voice in this medium and connect with tastemakers whose work I’ve long admired. I was appointed to the Board of Advisors for the Design Influencers Conference, selected for the High Point Market Authority influencers tour, Co-Chaired the Washington DC Winter Show and appear as a regular on various podcasts and and design talks.
I live most of the year as an American ex-pat in London and spend summers at our farmhouse in New Hampshire. I lived and worked in NYC for many years after graduation from Dartmouth College, where I majored in Art History and Film Studies.
